Once your order is placed on goalsetter.com, our team begins preparing it for shipment. Orders typically ship within 48 hours, although delivery times may vary depending on how far you are from our Iowa warehouse. During busier seasons, such as the holidays or spring sports months, please allow for additional transit time as freight carriers manage higher volumes of deliveries.
If your order includes both a basketball goal and accessories, they may arrive in separate shipments. Each package will have its own tracking number so you can easily monitor its progress. Your tracking information will be emailed to you once your order has shipped, and updates will continue as it makes its way to the freight company’s local warehouse.
Because Goalsetter basketball systems are large and heavy, some models weighing more than 400 pounds, they must be shipped via ground freight. Each system is securely packaged in large boxes that are roughly 72 inches long by 36 inches wide and 18 inches high, though exact dimensions vary depending on the model. Standard freight delivery is curbside only, meaning the driver will bring your basketball system to the back of the delivery truck and you will be responsible for helping unload it at the curb. Freight delivery does not include inside delivery, assembly, or removal of packaging materials.
Once your hoop arrives at the freight company’s nearest distribution center, a representative will contact you by phone to schedule a delivery appointment. They will provide a date and time window, usually around four hours, for when the delivery will take place.
